Managing Customers
The Customers section gives you a full view of your customer base and lets you manage individual customer accounts.
Customers dashboard

- Total number of customers
- Number of active rentals

- Average customer value
Searching and filtering
The search bar is context sensitive — you can search by:
- Customer name
- Phone number
- Company name
Results update automatically as you type.
Customising the customer list
Click Columns to add or remove columns from the customer list view. Available columns include company name, tax exempt status, and more. You can also filter and sort by any column — for example, filtering to show only tax exempt customers.
Each customer row shows a preview of their email address, phone number, total spend, number of orders, and date of most recent order.

To upload a document:
- Click Upload
- Select the document file
- Set an expiration date if applicable
- Confirm the upload

Click the pencil icon on the customer profile to edit their details, including name, email, phone number, and company association.
Tax exempt status
To make a customer tax exempt:
- Upload their tax exemption certificate in the Documents tab
- Click the pencil icon to edit the customer
- Check the Tax Exempt box
- Click Save Changes
Once saved, all future orders for that customer will have tax removed automatically. Tax exempt status does not apply retrospectively to existing orders.
Tax exempt status only applies to new orders placed after the setting has been saved. It will not affect any previous orders.
Automatic discount
You can set a permanent percentage discount for preferred customers. Once set, the discount is automatically applied to all their bookings as long as they are signed in with their account.
To set an automatic discount:
- Click the pencil icon to edit the customer
- Enter the discount percentage in the Automatic Discount field
- Click Save Changes
